McManus Represents GB at the U17 European Beach Wrestling Championships

Naoise McManus (Erne Wrestling Club) was selected to represent Great Britain at the Under 17 European Beach Wrestling Championships in Croatia this week. Naoise won her initial knockout match against France, making it through to the next round where she narrowly missed out on a win by one point against the European medalist from Greece. Naoise continued to put in strong performances against Poland and Ukraine finishing with a final ranking of 7th in Europe! This is Noaise's first year at the Under 17 level, no doubt there will be more successes to come for this skilled and dedicated athlete.
